Jason had a verbal spat with batsman George O'Brien in between overs and it was at this point that both got involved in a tussle and both players wrestled each other on the ground. Officials, players and even members of the Bermuda Police Service had to rush to diffuse the situation.
After reviewing the video footage, the Bermuda Cricket Board found Anderson guilty of Level 4 Breach of the Code of Conduct and handed a life ban. On the other hand, O'Brien was charged with Level 3 Breach of Conduct and was handed six-month ban from all forms of cricket.
