CAST AND CREW OF THE MOVIE:
Lead Cast: Ravi Teja, Rakul Preet Singh, Brahmanandam and others
Director: Surender Reddy
Music Director: S. Thaman
Producers: Nandamuri Kalyan Ram
REASONS FOR PROPAGANDA:
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja who has scored two successive hits with 'Balupu' and 'Power' is back with his new movie and it is directed by Surender Reddy, who is coming after giving last year's biggest commercial hit 'Race Gurram'. Despite multiple postponements, expectations are sky high on this film.
Doctor aka Robin Hood (played by Ravi Teja) lives in America. He decides to establish a hospital in US so he comes to India to sell all his properties to establish that hospital. He gets severely injured in an accident and he is forced to take rest for couple of days in India.
During this period, he falls in love with Rakul Preet and to impress her, he stays in Brahmandam's house as paying guest.
One day, Rakul Preet gets kidnapped and the kidnappers demand Ravi teja to come to their village to take her back. When he reaches the village, he comes to know that Rakul played this kidnap drama to make him to come to the village.
Then, she explains him the situations of that village and here villain Solomon Singh Takur (played by Ravi Kishan) makes an entry. To take revenge on Solomon, Rakul Preet asks Ravi teja to kill him since Solomon killed her father. Ravi teja refuses to kill him as he is a doctor not a killer.
Will he kill Solomon Singh after changing his decision? What happens to their love story forms the rest of the story.
Ravi Teja has once again proved that coming to energetic performances, no one match his screen presence. He breathed life into every scene he is in with his funny and action packed histrionics.
Rakul Preet Singh looks cute and beautiful as a village belle and she played her part very well.
Brahmanandam has once again played a key role and he has largely succeeded in doing so.
Other actors like Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Rajpal Yadav, Srinivas Reddy, Tanikella Bharani etc have done their jobs.
Apart from Ravi Teja's energetic performance, Thaman's music and background score are the highlights of this movie.
Few action sequences are handled excellently.
Those who expect it to be the sequel to Kick will be disappointed as no connection is there between the two stories.
Screenplay has few drags here and there.
Songs placement spoiled the flow of the film especially in the first half.
Item song was forced and did not come out well.
Surender Reddy has once again impressed with his stylish and powerful taking. But he failed in convincing with a sold screenplay but makes it a good, watchable entertainer.
Cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa deserves huge applause. Richness is seen in every scene due to his camera work.
Thaman SS has done great job with songs and BGM.
Editing by Gautam Raju is fine although he could have chopped few scenes.
Production values by NTR Arts are damn rich. Kalyan Ram is an uncompromising producer and the richness is seen on screen.
Dialogues have fun and punch.
APNC VERDICT: Not the deserved sequel to 'Kick' but "Comfortable" one time watch.
