REASONS FOR PROPAGANDA:
Allari Naresh, who was once the care of address for minimum guarantee films, has been struggling to score a decent hit from some time. He has come up with his latest comic caper 'James Bond' in the hunt of scoring a box office hit and let's see if he can manage it this time. This movie is said to be the freemake of hit Korean comedy 'My Wife Is a Gangster'.
Nani (played by Allari Naresh) is a software engineer, who always dreams of marrying a traditional girl. On the other hand, Pooja (played by Sakshi Chaudhary) is a lady don based in Dubai. Her parents are separated in her childhood. A grown up Pooja comes to India to look after her ill mother and she keeps her past a secret.
As fate has already decided, Nani marries Pooja without knowing her past. What happens once Nani finds out the truth and how will he tackle this situation forms the rest of the story.
Allari Naresh, who was supposed to be the biggest strength of this film, could not manage to evoke any laughs as he feels lost most of the time. There is not a single memorable comic sequence in this film that can be talked about.
Sakshi Chowdhary, despite showing her glam quotient in every possible place, has failed to emote and looks wooden all the time despite she got a meaty role.
Rest of the comedy gang including JP, Sapthagiri, Posani etc have done decent jobs.
Except few one-liners that evoke laughs and peppy musical numbers, nothing much is like positive here.
Execution is plain flat, which might not appeal to audience.
Despite an interesting premise is there, it is dealt half-heartedly and there is no magical comic sequence that can save this film.
Acing of Naresh and Sakshi are not upto the mark.
Predictable interval bang and weak climax make it hard for audience to sit through.
Debutant director Sai Kishore, a protege of Srinu Vytla failed to do the magic on screen despite having a talented actor like Naresh in hand. His weak story telling and lazy direction makes the film a tedious watch.
Music by Sai Kartheek is the only talking point of the film as he has given good songs.
Editing by MR Varma could have been sharper as there are number of unnecessary scenes occupying the screen.
Cinematography is decent, especially songs.
Production values are decent. Dialogues are just ok except few typical Allari Naresh mark one-liners.
APNC VERDICT: Not 'Barthbali' but 'AudienceBali'
