Shame: Sankranthi season wasted, 100 Crore loss for Telugu cinema

Festival season is primary one for any film maker or director or for a Hero to mint the collections and prove themselves up for that case. Now the Long weekend kind of things in US and India will work for the Movie’s sector on a larger scale. The theatrical share of the films that got released for this Sankranthi is more than 200 crore rupees.

Agnyaathavaasi was supposed to make some profits and bring in atleast 125 crores share, Jai Simha needed to get 40 crores of the share if that went a blockbuster. But both failed at the box office and offered nothing to the audience now. Last year Gautamiputra Satakarni, Khaidi No 150 and Shatamanam Bavathi gave some stunning Sankranthi where before last year too films went great.

But this time Sankranthi got wasted on higher amount and if Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyathavaasi gives 50 crores loss and Balayya’s Jai Simha + Gang gives 50 crore loss together. Looks like atleast 100 crore loss is hitting TFI this Season.
