Indian cricket team skipper, Virat Kohli had not just bagged records in the game but also achieved quite a few rare feats. Now he has added one more feather into his cap today.
Getting into the details, wax statue of Virat Kohli has been unveiled today (i.e. on 6th June) at Madame Tussauds museum in New Delhi. The members of the museum have been working on it for quite some time as the cricketer himself stated it earlier. They have even posted it on their official social media accounts with a picture of the statue.
“Presenting #TussaudsDelhi’s next big unveil! The run machine, the chase master, Virat Kohli is here! #KohliInDelhi,” posted on the official Facebook page of Madam Tussauds museum.
The museum members have also released a statement of Kohli which said, “Sincerely appreciate the efforts and incredible work undergone in making my figure. Thanks to Madame Tussauds for choosing me for this lifetime experience. I am grateful to my fans for their love and support.”
Besides Kohli the museum has the wax statues of sportsmen like David Beckham, Lionel Messi, Kapil Dev and Usain Bolt.
Also the visitors and fans of Kohli went out to have a look at his statue and took selfies with it. Kohli conveyed his wishes to the team of Madame Tussauds for the pleasant gesture.
