Okka Kshanam Review: Another interesting thriller in 2017

REASONS FOR PROPAGANDA:
Director VI Anand is known for his peculiar films like Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada and the new film Okka Kshanam from him starring Allu Sirish in the lead role is so engaging and interesting. The trailer and Parallel life controversy surely increased some seize on this film. Let’s see how it went in theatres.

CAST AND CREW OF THE MOVIE:
Lead Cast: Allu Sirish, Surbhi, Seerat Kapoor and others
Director: Vi Anand
Music Director: Mani Sharma
Producer: Chakri Chigurupati

NARRATION:
Okka Kshanam story is all about 2 couples Sirish, Surabhi-Avasarala Srinivas and another girl Seerat Kapoor from which the saga goes into various things and unite at a crucial point of Heroine’s death chance. Hero was supposed to be stopping it considering the Parallel thoughts of his for various births and another lives.

SAFE SIGNS:
Director VI Anand took the film on different threads and managed to pull out them to unite at a single place at an interesting point.

Crime story was posted with some interest and it was taken with minimum clues as well. The movie picks up during Interval and interval bang went so great with a wonderful twist.

The second half has too good close moments which makes the audience attains the attention and mood. Executing few scenes was well done by director VI Anand.

Allu Sirish did his best and raised the quotient of his performance mark for sure.

Heroines Surabhi and Seerat were ok.

Avasarala Srinivas gains marks for his performance.

Mani Sharma’s Music and Background music were assets.

The second half is the big asset for the film excluding climax.

HAZARD SIGNS:
Director VI Anand got some Parallel life-related story in Mind and he made it on screen. This movie is surely a lifted one idea from Parallel life but took local native touches to it. Anand executed few scenes so well ruined few of them for sure. So this looks like a partially baked thriller drama. Climax drags the film with a poor script from the director in last 15 minutes.

APNC VERDICT:
Finally,┬áVI Anand has taken Parallel lifeline for sure and implemented it with some care. The interesting moments of the film are in the second half where First half is surely boring. The engaging concept decent suspense scenes and good narration up to important scenes will surely be add-ons for this movie. Slow pace and poor climax will drench you to bore mode. Thrilling moments in the film makes this an interesting watch for this weekend. Looks like Allu Sirish has hit the Bull’s eye.
