The Villain turned Hero is having sensational films back in the 90s and currently, his career is on a stake. Dasari Sivaji-Mohan Babu is a nice guy who always helps for the society and helps the children in all ways. Being a stage actor Sivaji is always impersonating few other people. He helps Minister Prudhvi by replacing himself in Jail. Sivaji therein enters as Minister where he imitates a lot of people. Anchor Anasuya places Television channel journalist in this film. Actor Mohan Babu just like his earlier films nailed the peak role in all his better ways.

Shriya Saran and Manchu Vishnu did their parts possibly good.

Dialogues were so good whereby “Naaku voteyyani vaallu Nenu ichina pensions teesukovadhu, nenu vesina roads meeda tiragodhu antaadu okadu“ says Mohan Babu in the movie taking a Dig a Chandrababu Naidu. Other things went smooth. First half is so decent with some mass elements to watch for.

The bigger negative point for this film GAYATHRI is its story. Director Madan took some very poor flashback story from the 1980s and tried to convince it into the minds of the audience. This story was described with some political backdrop but it turns into the family saga in few minutes. The direction is so weak where Screenplay puts on the extra burden for the audience. Climax too is not so convincing at all. Fights should have been managed better.

The movie GAYATHRI has good elements but Madan the director failed to showcase them on the positive note. Being a political drama few dialogue worked out for the film. Rest of the items managed to fail the film. There are some good moments from Mohan Babu and Shriya which proved their Performance mettle. These films with old wine in the new bottle will not help Mohan Babu to keep on increasing his dead market. He needs to come up with Rajasekhar kind of Garuda Vega risk else he is a gone case for Tollywood. Still, this movie has chances to work at B, C centers.
