Janasena leader, Pawan Kalyan took a break from his Porata Yatra and is all set to resume it from 26th June. The actor turned politician is focusing full time on the forthcoming elections and will be announcing his party candidates in short time.
Latest news is that the Janasenani reportedly struck a deal with 10TV management to takeover the news channel. It is known that 10TV is headed by Tammineni Veerabhadram who is the state secretary of CPI(M). The news channel was launched by the funds collected from people and CPI(M) party members.
It is heard that Nimmagadda Prasad aka Matrix Prasad is keen to invest around Rs 30 crores in 10TV. Earlier, he launched Maa TV and ran it for more than a decade before Star Network acquires its rights. We will have to see whether Pawan joins hands with Nimmagadda Prasad to takeover 10TV or has other plans for it.
A month ago, Pawan started a campaign inviting the TFI artists against the Telugu news channels that took a dig on his fame and popularity. It is said to be the reason for Pawan’s decision to start his own news channel.
The power star was said to have approached the officials of news channels, Express TV and 99TV who showed disinterest in his deal.
