Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa resigns ahead of Floor Test, Kumaraswamy to be the next CM

The Karnataka Elections heat is still on the nation and as per the Supreme Court orders the floor test was supposed to be held today at 4PM. BS Yeddyurappa before heading to floor test stated that BJP has won the majority and people of Karnataka have chosen their party to rule them. He further added that it is unfair on Congress and JDS’ part to still try to win over them.

Now the news is that Yeddyurappa has resigned as the Chief Minister minutes ahead of the floor test. The BJP leader has not enjoyed his position as Chief Minister for not at least 3 days. Kumaraswamy, the elected candidate of JDS will be taking charge as the next Chief Minister of Karnataka in short time after Yeddyurappa resignation accepted.

“People have blessed us with 104 seats. The mandate wasn’t for Congress or JD(S). Both Congress and JDS were defeated by people and they still are in greed of power despite people’s choice. If only people would have given us 113 seats instead of 104, we would have made this state a paradise. We will get 28 out of 28 seats in Lok Sabha,” B S Yeddyurappa ahead of floor test.” stated Yedyurappa ahead of floor test.
