Polling results of Karnataka Assembly Elections are out today and the whole nation is excited to see which party forms the government. One would say that the state elections were never this exciting to the other parts of the country since there happens to be quite a few twists in drama within the three political parties BJP, Congress and JDS.
Till the last minute of yesterday, exit polls indicated at BJP’s dominance hinting that the party supported by JDS would form the government. Early in the morning today, after the counting began, Congress was leading in many areas and BJP took the second position. By noon, BJP gained the lead and reports stated that the party alone would form the government irrespective of which party JDS would support.
Within a couple of hours Congress and JDS showed rapid growth in results and both the parties have decided to turn allies to form the government. Surprisingly Congress came up with an interesting deal that they would propose JDS candidate to be the Chief Minister. Talks are on to elect HD Deve Gowda’s son Kumaraswamy as the state CM.
