Sudden change in atmosphere across the country is being experienced for the last week and the government has already issued warnings. Thunderstorms and high velocity winds costed 41 lives and many escaped with major and minor injuries.
Veteran Bollywood actress cum politician Hema Malini had reportedly escaped an accident as a tree fell in front of her convoy in a flash speed. As per the report, Hema Malini attended a public meeting in Mithauli and faced the situation on her return. The BJP MP was however out of danger, left safe along with her security.
Weather reports suggest that the climate would stay for 2 to 3 days and thunderstorms might continue for the next 48 hours. Several places from Andhra Pradesh as well were reported of extreme climatic conditions.
Responding to the loss due to the sudden climate change, prime minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “Saddened by the loss of lives due to storms in some parts of the country. Condolences to the bereaved families. I pray for the speedy recovery of those injured.”
Congress party President Rahul Gandhi advised his party members to reach out to the victims and provide them assistance.
