Superstar Rajnikanth’s Kaala is gearing up for a grand release on 7th June. The film is already done with the censor formalities and received U/A with 14 minor cuts.
Latest news is that Kaala has been banned in Karnataka by the state’s Film Chamber of Commerce for Rajini’s interference in Cauvery water issue. They have already warned Kamal Haasan that his upcoming films will face the same problem if he further speaks against Karnataka on the same issue. However, makers of Kaala are planning to settle down with Karnataka’s Film Chamber before the film gets released.
Theatrical trailer of movie was released last night and is still trending on the internet. The film appears to be a political drama with high voltage action sequences. Huma Qureshi and Nana Patekar are playing key roles in the film.
Movie will release simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on 7th June. Pa Ranjith who directed Rajini in Kabali is also helming the mega phone for Kaala. Hero Dhanush is bankrolling the high budgeted flick under Wunderbar Studios banner.
