Naga Chaitanya talks about Mahanati has turned out to be the most successful film in this summer bagging appreciation and box office numbers equally. The film is still going good in many areas and now stood out as the 6th Tollywood film to collect 2.5 million dollars at the US box office.

But when we went on for the test shoot Nag Aswhin told me to not imitate my grand father but bring out the essence of his acting which helped me a lot. I would have gone for even 500 to 1000 takes to get it right,” said Naga Chaitanya.

He further stated, “People have always encourage content based films irrespective of the star cast and budgets which has been proved once again with Mahanati. The biopic deserves to be seen in theatres and please do not encourage piracy.”
