Writer turned director Rajasimha Tadinada who has been living in Mumbai for a while, was taken to hospital after he fell unconscious at his residence. News said that the film maker had attempted suicide taking too many sleeping pills because of the lack of opportunities in Telugu Film Industry.
Clarifying about his suicide rumours, Rajasimha after his treatment stated that he had low sugar levels and did not take medicines why is why he fell unconscious. He further added that he is completely healthy, working on new projects and would soon return to Hyderabad. However, he did not clarify about the news on taking excessive sleeping pills.
Rajasimha Tadinada penned dialogues were Rudramadevi and was well appreciated by the critics. Later he made his directorial debut with Okka Ammayi Thappa starring Sundeep Kishan and Nithya Menon which was released in June, 2016 and ended up as a dud at the box office.
