65th National Awards announced, Raj Kumar Rao film NEWTON bags the Best Hindi Film and GHAJI wins the race in TELUGU

Amit V Masurkar’s directorial Newton has bagged the Best Hindi Film in the 65th National Awards committee which is headed by renowned filmmaker Shekhar Kapur.

 

The 10-membered panel comprises the likes of Kannada director P Sheshadri, screenwriter Imtiaz Hussain, actor Gautami Tadimalla and lyricist Mehboob among others In the Telugu list Rana Daggubati GHAJI won the best regional (Telugu) film and Baahubali is the best film in the list of 1. Best Action direction 2. Best special effects 3. Best wholesome entertainment and popular movie.

 

Bollywood legendary Heroine Sridevi has been selected as Best Heroine for her fantastic acting in MOM, AR Rahman won the best music composer for Tamil film kaatru veliyidai and best background music for MOM.
